Support Youth UK enables education organisations to provide social, emotional mental health services through highly effective professional training, development, and support. We are leading the direction of therapeutic interventions and setting a mark of excellence for support services that will enable education providers to develop and clarify their approach to the expanding needs of SEMH.
There is a pressure on education to provide SEMH services and Ofsted and the DfE are increasingly concerned about how this is delivered in schools and are being clear that we have a responsibility to deliver them by trained professionals enabling lasting impact for our young people. By providing successful SEMH programmes alongside professional development and data assessment, organisations can provide these services and clearly demonstrate the impact.
Each of the training programmes includes:
- The subject issues and impacts
- The benefits. Individual, whole school and community
- Assessment and data. How do we use these to ensure success?
- Delivery to have impact. Group, classroom and individually
- Train the trainer. Lesson plans and resources
- Signposting and further support.
Understanding that time can be the most overstretched resource within education, SYUK have created a training system that allows our training to be flexible and cohesive with your organisation. We use a revolutionary online training platform that allows us to develop and train within your organisation, virtually or in-house. Your staff can access their training programme through an online portal, webinars and live teaching. This means that training can be completed anytime, anywhere!
Our flexible range of training programmes start at £80pp.
