Each of our social, emotional, mental health courses can be used for groups, the classroom and for individual support sessions. Our resources are dynamic to enable you to use them in a range of ways and supports your wider PHSE program. The purpose and objective of these programmes is to enable your organisation to be flexible to your young people’s needs, while being supported and guided by our team to provide powerful and positive change to SEMH within your organisation.
The power of assessment.
It has often been a criticism of therapeutic services and ‘soft skill’ development that it can be hard to measure the impact of the work. We at SYUK do not believe this is true and have designed a comprehensive assessment and data tracking system to ensure clarity of service and impact. Each programme that we have developed comes with an essential initial assessment then impact assessment so you can clearly track and demonstrate how your organisation is providing support and enabling positive change.
This programme identifies the key characteristics of resilience, why it is important, the common barriers and how to develop self-reliance and resilience. The subject areas include; problem solving, positive thinking, self-esteem, communication and many more.

Rights and Respect is an innovative teaching and support programme designed to address a range of issues that young people face concerning their rights, what is respect, safety, relationships and making positive choices. This innovative programme works to support schools and young people in many ways.
We are in the process of developing whole school services that address the issues within the school community and how to create positive culture change.

AIM. To achieve, inspire and motivate.
This behaviour and intervention programme has been used in many schools and by different education providers to great success. We have continued to adapt and develop the techniques using behaviour specialists and practicing therapists to ensure this work empowers educators today and tomorrow.
Using effective behaviour interventions alongside therapeutic practice to unravel the reasons for negative behaviour has made this programme tremendously successful for positive and lasting change.
Designed to be adaptable, this programme can be used as a six week intervention package, stand alone resources and intervention groups. We introduce the concept of behaviour tutoring and a range of ground-breaking techniques such as the three minutes to change behaviour, student lead behaviour monitoring and the power of assessment.
In this programme we explore attachment styles using directed assessment. This student learning programme uses techniques and resources designed specifically for attachment difficulties and how we help ourselves to create security and stability.
Within the Understanding Attachment Practice professional training we also we include, the neurobiology of attachment, whole school attachment theory, co-regulation, self-regulation.

Attachment continues to be seen as one of the fundamental areas of knowledge necessary for competent therapeutic work.'

Young people suffer with anxiety for a wide range of reasons that impact their learning and social development. This six lesson course gains a better understanding of what anxiety is, what triggers it for the individual and provides techniques and tools to be able to manage in times of crisis. Each of the resources in this course can be used as stand alone PHSE resources and work effectively in classrooms and for individual support.
The Employability Skills Programme has been specifically designed to provide an opportunity for learners to increase their confidence, motivation and gain new skills in relation to self-confidence, employability and life skills. The modules are relevant and flexible.
This extensive and supportive employability programme can work in conjunction with our Employability Hubs that offer practical work placement kills alongside mentoring support and building resilience.
This Violence and Consequences programme explores what violence means within the lives of young people. We discuss why it happens, the causes in society, how we can protect ourselves and better understanding our own control.
